'ahhh, etc'
Nothing really to report except for our first game of golf on the roadtrip. Teeing off on the first you're warned about snakes in the rough. Luckily Im a fantastic golfer. It actually turned out that I had a shocker and lost so many balls that I was unable to complete the last hole as I had run out of golf balls. We wont mention that game again.
Upon driving away, Mark noticed a small spider creeping up his arm. As Mark is the calmest of the 3 of us when it comes to deadly spiders, it was somewhat alarming watching him getting increasingly worried as it climbed towards his neck. Andy had already left the moving vehicle and I was quickly trying to pull over. My initial reaction to any animal that looks or behaves in a way I dont understand or like is to kill it, but Mark was a little reluctant to do this as he wasnt sure if it was one of those spiders that if it bites you, the poison slowly rotts your flesh away to the bone. Splatting it might result in grim accident so luckily he managed to get out and flick it off. Then we reversed to pick up Andy and give him some sweets to calm him down a bit.
Golf was followed by more extreme bowl movements (bowl not bowel). I'm improving but still way below the standard of a pensioner. Sod this place, lets crack on with a big drive to the next.
Deadly Spider and animal count: 2
Mcdonalds Spotting count: 30
